- Maximum stay is 30 days in the short-term parkades and 60 days in long-term and Economy parking; a vehicle left past the limit is treated as abandoned and towed.[5]
- Height limits: P1 long-term and short-term 2.0 m; P2 long-term 2.3 m and short-term 2.7 m. Taller vehicles use the Overheight lot, reached by staying in the left lane of Airport Rd.[2]
- Parking is limited on Wednesdays, Thursdays, holidays and long weekends: arrive early or ask the Parkade Hot Line, (403) 250-7275, about availability.[2]
- A lost or unreadable ticket is charged at least one day’s parking, based on the time the camera captured your plate.[5]
- Overtime on a booking is billed at the rate board price and paid at the exit.[5]
- Accessible stalls are in every facility, can’t be reserved and are first come, first served.[10]
- Charging for electric vehicles is included with paid parking on P1 Level 4 (4 universal and 8 Tesla stations) and Level 2 (9 universal stations). Block heater outlets are only partly available in the Economy and Overheight lots, and not in P1 or P2.[2]

Free waiting and ways to pay less
- The first 20 minutes are free in the short-term parkades, enough to meet a guest in the terminal.[1]
- The cell phone waiting lot is free for up to 60 minutes. Stay with your vehicle, and go to the Arrivals curb only once your passenger has cleared customs, collected bags and called you.[3]
- Arrivals pick-up zones: doors 4 to 7 for domestic flights, doors 16 and 17 for international ones. The airport notes it can be faster to meet your passenger on the Departures level at peak times.[4]
- Book online to save: reservations open up to 12 months ahead and until 30 minutes before you reach the gate. Booked parking is entered and exited by scanning the confirmation’s QR code.[2] Official page
- AMA members get 20% off all parking products with a valid membership. Promo codes apply to selected lots and travel dates only and can’t be combined; the promotions page lists none today and offers them by newsletter.[6]
- Cancel an online booking for a refund up to two hours before it starts; refunds can take up to ten business days to reach your card.[5]
Getting to the terminal
- No LRT line reaches the airport. Route 100 connects to Saddletowne LRT Station (Blue Line) and North Pointe terminal; Route 500 is a limited-stop express between Downtown and YYC via Centre Street.[7]
- Domestic terminal buses stop across the roadway from Door 2, toward Pillar 7. At the international terminal, leave by Door 15 on the Arrivals level and cross toward Pillar 32.[7]
- Ticket machines at each stop take debit, credit or cash; check Calgary Transit for fares and times, which the airport’s page doesn’t list.[7]
- Only Uber and Lyft are permitted ride apps at YYC. Pick-up is on the Arrivals level near doors 3, 12 or 15, or at doors 5 and 11 on Departures at peak times; the airport lists a $5.10 pick-up fee plus GST.[8]
