Booking, paying and lot rules

  • Online booking has no booking fee. You can typically book up to 12 months ahead, and up to 3 hours before your arrival time; you pay when you book.[6]
  • Enter the time you expect to reach the airport, not your flight time. If you enter early or leave late, you pay the extra time at the rates posted at the lot entrance; the airport suggests booking 2 hours before and after your plans.[6]
  • A booking can be cancelled at least 3 hours before arrival for a $5 fee. Amending is free until 3 hours before, but the new booking takes the rates in force on the day you amend.[6]
  • Without a reservation you pay when you leave: at the automated pay stations in the terminal Arrivals area, on Level 1 or 3 of P1, or near the P4 exit, or at the exit gate. Debit, American Express, Discovery, Mastercard and Visa are accepted.[1]
  • P1 has a 30-minute grace period only with a valid accessible parking permit; P4 has no grace period. Accessible spots are on all P1 levels and in P4.[1]
  • Free 120V plug-in EV spots are in P1 (Levels 2, 3 and 4, and the BIZ area), and three fast chargers sit across from the Cell Phone Lot. P4 has no charging, and EV spots cannot be reserved.[1]
  • Departures drop-off is the Level 3 curb; pickup is the Arrivals curb below. Both are for active loading only, and an unattended vehicle will be ticketed and towed.[8]
  • The parking office on Level 1 of P1 is staffed 24 hours (613-248-4304, Impark@yow.ca) and gives free battery boosts and snow dig-outs.[1]

Free waiting and discounts

  • The Cell Phone Lot is free: wait in your vehicle until your passenger messages you from the Arrivals curb. Turn right onto Air Cargo Private from Airport Parkway. Unattended vehicles are ticketed and towed; commercial and rideshare vehicles may not use it.[3]
  • The airport says paying online before you travel gets its best parking price, and online rates are lower than drive-up rates.[1]
  • The “10 for 30” offer: reserve a 14 to 30 day stay in P4 and pay for 10 days only.[5]
  • CAA members get 20% off when they reserve online with their membership number, or 10% when paying at a kiosk or exit gate, in P1 and P4.[5]
  • CFOne Card holders get 15% off standard rates in P1 and P4 through a promotion code for online reservations.[5]
  • Visa Infinite Privilege cardholders get 20% off in P1 only, claimed at the Level 1 parking office with the entry ticket, not online. Offers cannot be combined.[5]

Getting to the terminal

  • O-Train Line 4 runs from Airport station to South Keys station from 6:00 a.m. to midnight. The station joins Level 3 of the terminal at the north end.[4]
  • OC Transpo bus route 105 runs 24 hours a day, every 30 minutes, between Uplands Drive at the airport and St-Laurent Station; at night it runs to Rideau Station. Buses stop on the Level 3 Departures roadway.[4]
  • Taxis queue outside the centre door on Level 1. Rideshare pickup is at pillars 12 and 13, on the curb furthest from the terminal, and hotel shuttles stop at pillars 13 to 15.[4]
  • Buy OC Transpo fares at the ticket machine outside the O-Train station on Level 3; buses also take cash, Presto, or a tap of a credit or debit card.[4]
