Getting there without a car
- Address: Main Air Terminal Building, 4881 Fountain Street North, Breslau, ON N0B 1M0.[5]
- The airport says it is about 20 minutes from the centres of Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge. Our estimate with no traffic: about 13 km and 17 minutes from downtown Kitchener, 16 km and 20 minutes from Uptown Waterloo.[5]
- GRT Route 78 Fountain runs about every 30 minutes between Sportsworld Station and the airport on weekdays only (6–10 a.m., 2–7 p.m. and 10:30–11:30 p.m.). The ride takes about 15 minutes.[5]
- GRT Route 79 Breslau is on-demand: book it in the GRT Flex app on weekdays. It connects the airport with Kitchener Train Station and Central Station for the ION.[5]
- Four Region-licensed taxi companies serve the airport, and there is a ride share pick-up area next to the GRT stop.[5]
Monthly parking
The airport sells no public monthly parking and no weekly discount, and we found no public monthly listing near YKF. A 30-day stay at the daily rate comes to $600 in P4, or $840 in P3 at its daily maximum (our arithmetic).[1]
