Size guide

Most failed arrivals aren't the host's fault — a pickup booked into a compact bay, or a roof box that doesn't clear a 1.9 m garage. Pick your vehicle below and see which listing sizes actually fit it.

Your vehicle

Sedan needs a listing marked "Large" or larger. Height is not a concern at this size, so covered garages are open to you too.

Height is what catches people out

Underground garages in Canadian condo towers are commonly posted at 1.9 m or 2.0 m. A roof box, bike rack or lifted suspension can add 30 cm to a vehicle that's otherwise fine.
1.9 m
Typical condo garage

The most common posted clearance in Ontario condo towers. Rules out most vans and any roof box.

2.1 m
Newer builds

Post-2015 residential garages are usually 2.1 m at the entrance, sometimes lower at ducting.

A roof box adds this

Measure to the top of the box, not the roofline. Bike racks on the roof add roughly the same.

Street-level listings have no clearance limit, which is why oversized vehicles filter to them first.

Size guide FAQ

Where do I find a listing's real size?
Each listing states which vehicle size it fits — small, medium, large or oversized — and covered spaces can list a height limit. Check the "Fits" line in the listing details before booking, and ask the host if no height limit is listed.
What if I turn up and it does not fit?
Cancel from your booking page — the refund follows the host's cancellation policy shown at checkout. If the listing's stated size was wrong, contact support so the listing can be reviewed.
Can I book two spaces for a trailer?
Book a listing marked oversized rather than two side-by-side bays — a trailer needs continuous turning room that two adjacent standard bays usually don't have.
Does an EV need anything different?
Only if you want to charge — filter for the EV Charging amenity when you search, then check the listing's connector type before booking.
