Prohibited Storage Items Policy

Guests must not use a Parkeas Storage Listing to store items that are unlawful, dangerous, hazardous or otherwise prohibited. This Policy forms part of the Parkeas Terms of Service.
1. Prohibited Items
Unless expressly permitted by applicable law and the Listing, prohibited items include:
- illegal goods or stolen property;
- explosives;
- unlawful weapons;
- illegal drugs;
- hazardous chemicals;
- toxic substances;
- biohazardous materials;
- human remains;
- live animals;
- highly flammable materials;
- regulated waste;
- materials that create unreasonable fire, health, environmental or contamination risks;
- property that cannot legally be possessed, stored or transported;
- property prohibited by the Host's Listing rules; and
- any other item prohibited by Parkeas or applicable law.
2. Guest Obligations
Guests must not use a storage Listing for illegal activity.
Guests are responsible for accurately describing the general nature of goods where Parkeas or the Host reasonably requires that information.
3. Host Restrictions
Hosts may establish reasonable additional restrictions appropriate to the Space, building, insurance requirements or applicable law.
4. Investigation and Enforcement
Parkeas may suspend, cancel or investigate a Storage Booking where it reasonably believes prohibited or dangerous items may be involved.
5. No Custody of Stored Property
Parkeas does not take possession, custody or control of property stored by a Guest and does not act as a warehouseman, bailee, custodian or insurer of stored property.
Nothing in this Policy limits any rights or obligations that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
